The Jones and Whyss family clans led period of industrial growth and expansion, especially through the commissioning of the new rebuilding and development of Morrowvale Civic Centre, all has come through on-time and on-budget, through under expert city planning and guidance of Victor Austerity Jones, under the (often tacit) approval of Clement Attlee, whose ministerial term recognizes an increasing move in the UK towards supporting the island’s growth and call for international tourism.
The requirement of Valencia tiles, imported to Morrowvale in 2500 massive crate loads during a single (and final) 1947 voyage for the shipping vessel La Finistrada from Barcelona, breaks down in the harbor at Torval and unable to complete its week-long, 2300-mile nautical journey from Port of Valencia through the strait at Gibraltar and along the Normandy coastline into the North Sea, getting stuck past County Torval’s shallow river beds upstream along the Welwythn to Morrowvale civic center, where over 20 buildings awaited decoration. La Finistrada remains a sightseeing destination along the riverbed ever since, attracting tourism especially during the high Summer season.
